Here is our compilation of the latest London, New York, Paris and Milan catwalks, identifying the most key styles for SS18. For the SS18 season we are feeling strongly for key straw hat shapes, including new Western style as seen on the Versace catwalk. Boaters and wide brim straw still remain prominent, adding fringed raw edge detail. Bright colours are essential and can been seen through the new florals from Paul Smith and Off-White. Floral prints are large in scale and some have a bohemian feel as shown by Etro, as well as a painterly effect. Checks are simplified and updated with more of these bright colour pops, as illustrated by the MSGM red and pink bright check design. We are still feeling strongly for shimmer detailing through high shine fabrics and embellishment, particularly inspired by the Paco Rabanne catwalk, and perfect for occasion lightweights.
