Recruitment

As part of any recruitment process, Boardman Bros Limited collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants. Boardman Bros Limited is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data and to meeting its data protection obligations.

How long we retain your data

If your application for employment is unsuccessful, Boardman Bros Limited will hold your data on file for 6 months after the end of the relevant recruitment process. If you agree to allow Boardman Bros Limited to keep your personal data on file, Boardman Bros Limited will hold your data on file for a further 6 months for consideration for future employment opportunities. At the end of that period or once you withdraw your consent, your data is deleted or destroyed.

If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment. The periods for which your data will be held will be provided to you in a new privacy notice.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media
